Job Description

Serve food and beverages to banquet guests. Set up banquet functions by preparing tables with linens, dishes, flatware, and glassware according to banquet orders. Break down banquet functions by clearing tables and transporting used items to be cleaned. Provide excellent service to all guests.

Job Functions:

1. Set up banquet room according to catering specifications, including linens, dishes, silverware, and glassware.
2. Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
3. Serve food and beverages using hand-held trays and buffet carts.
4. Prepare and set up condiments.
5. Break down the banquet room after the event, removing soiled dishes, glassware, and silverware for cleaning.
6. Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

• Preferred six (6) months of experience.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull carts weighing approximately 100 pounds.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications.
