Job summary

OSI Group is offering a Food Science/ Quality Assurance internship in Riverside, CA. You will work on project-based assignments on a food manufacturing line, collect data, draft SOPs, and present findings to corporate management at internship end.

You will gain exposure to auditing principles, trend analysis, and cross-functional team collaboration in a manufacturing environment. This on-site role pays $22/hour to support learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Familiar with data collection and result reviews within QA contexts.
• Ability to draft or update standard operating procedures.
• Foundational understanding of auditing concepts and trends.

Responsibilities

• Collect, document, review, and transfer test results from external sources to internal documentation
• Perform data collection, trend quality metrics, and communicate results
• Draft, implement, and maintain SOPs
• Assist in developing, updating, and monitoring of corrective and preventive actions
• Daily logging of incoming raw materials into a database
• Sample preparation testing
• Learn and apply standards and principles of auditing
• Ability to analyze audit data to identify trends and summarize in reports
• Participate in cross-functional projects, work groups
