Job summary

OSI Group's internship offers hands-on experience on a food manufacturing line with project-based work, focusing on process improvement, yield, and waste reduction.

Interns collect and document test results, draft SOPs, support corrective actions, and prepare final presentations for corporate management. You will learn auditing concepts, work across teams, and gain insight into operating a global food business.

Responsibilities

• Collect, document, review, and transfer test results from external sources to internal documentation
• Perform data collection, trend quality metrics, and communicate results
• Draft, implement, and maintain SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Assist in developing, updating, and monitoring of corrective and preventive actions
• Daily logging of incoming raw materials into a database
• Sample preparation testing
• Learn and apply standards and principles of auditing and related techniques
• Ability to analyze audit data to identify trends and summarize in reports with recommendations to management
• Participate in cross-functional projects, work groups.
