Job summary

Dierbergs Markets, Inc. is seeking a Food Sanitation Maintenance Associate to keep our Bakery, Deli, Seafood, Meat, Salad Bar and Produce departments clean and running at the highest level.

This full-time role emphasizes independence, attention to detail, and the ability to follow cleaning protocols, operate floor scrubbers and other equipment, and adhere to a schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong attention to detail and aptitude to learn and use cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to navigate and move ladders frequently.
• Ability to work independently.
• Read basic information (e.g. chemical names and product labels).
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
• Prompt and regular attendance based on schedule.
• Adherence to dress code, appearance and personal hygiene standards.
• Associates in food handling departments are required to receive a Hepatitis A vaccination (MO only)

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning in Bakery, Deli, Seafood, Meat, Salad Bar and Produce Departments.
• Operate commercial power equipment such as floor scrubbers, steamers, power washers, scrubber, buffer, trash compactor, etc.
