Schwartz Brothers Restaurants in Seattle, WA is seeking a Food Safety Quality Technician to monitor the manufacturing and packaging of food products, ensuring GMP adherence and that finished products meet all specifications.

You will verify HACCP records, perform calibration checks, inspections, and document data. The role requires flexibility to work nights/weekends and offers growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• GMP knowledge required or strongly preferred.
• Will train suitable candidate in food safety/quality control.
• HACCP certification is a plus but not required.
• Must obtain Washington State Food Handler's Card within 15 days of start.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production of food, including ingredient, lot code, and process verifications.
• Measure product parameters to ensure specifications are met (weight, packaging, sensory data, identity preservation).
• Record data and notify FSQ team when out of specification.
• Inspect all plant areas daily for GMP, sanitation and equipment issues and resolve promptly.
• Ensure HACCP prereq compliance and regulatory program adherence.
