Job summary

Country Pure Foods in DeLand, FL is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Technician earning a 5:30am–5:30pm shift on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. The role tests and inspects materials and products to ensure compliance with HACCP, GMPs and SQF across production stages.

Responsibilities include auditing processes, maintaining QA records, calibrating equipment, and communicating issues to the QA Manager. Education: AA degree or equivalent, 1 year QA experience in food/beverage, and Juice HACCP

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent required for technical work.
• Minimum 1 year QA experience in a food/beverage setting.
• Knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, Sanitation and SQF programs.
• Juice HACCP Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ingredients and packaging for conformance with specs.
• Audit blending and production processes for compliance.
• Maintain QA records, filing, and housekeeping programs.
• Perform microbiological plating functions as needed.
• Monitor Water Quality and Retain programs per CPF guidelines.
• Track production for HACCP, GMP, SQF, and SOP compliance.
• Calibrate laboratory and operational equipment.
• Ensure proper packaging and timely shipping of Co-pack samples.
• Inform QA Manager of negative trends and on-hold reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
