Job summary

Country Pure Foods, Inc. is seeking a full-time Food Safety & Quality Lead in DeLand, FL. You will support FSQ and sanitation routines, ensure compliance with FDA/USDA regulations, and lead continuous improvement efforts across plant operations.

The role requires a BS in a related field (or AS/HS with experience) and strong leadership, with responsibilities spanning HACCP, SQF, and lab quality control activities.

Qualifications

• BS in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, or related science field.
• AS degree with 4+ years FSQ experience may substitute for BS.
• HS diploma with 5+ years FSQ experience may substitute for BS.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance support for FDA/USDA regulations across plant operations.
• Coordinate sanitation, CIP validation/verification, and environmental monitoring.
• Support HACCP, SQF, and other food safety programs; lead CI/CAPA initiatives.
• Lead FSQ aspects of new product trials and production runs.
• Oversee laboratory QA activities and ensure products meet specifications.
