Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to monitor process control points, document food safety issues, and participate in corrective actions. The role includes assisting with pre-operational inspections, performing verification checks, and maintaining comprehensive records in a production environment.

The position requires an Associate degree in science or 1+ year QA experience, with knowledge of GMPs and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a science field or 1+ years in QA position or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of GMPs, Food Safety, and Safety requirements.
• Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level for understanding documentation.
• Basic computer skills: e-mail, Word, Excel.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required.

Responsibilities

• Documents and reports any food safety or quality issues and participates in corrective actions.
• May assist with pre-operational inspection of production plant and equipment and related documentation.
• Performs process verification checks at critical food safety and quality points per the facility's plans.
• Participates in determination of corrective actions when verification checks do not meet defined limits.
• Verifies the facility environment including temperature, sanitizer concentrations and other conditions.
• Completes Hold Tags and Cooling Tags to isolate non-conforming ingredients or products.
• Conducts and documents daily product review and evaluates key sensory attributes of finished products.
• Maintains records and follows documentation protocols as assigned.
• Adheres to HACCP, GMPs, foreign material control, plant sanitation, and other programs.
