John Soules Foods in Tyler, TX seeks a Quality Assurance Technician (1st Shift) to support the QA Supervisor in enforcing food safety and quality systems on the production floor. You will monitor HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs and related programs, documenting findings and driving timely corrective actions.

Ideal candidates bring knowledge of food safety controls, strong communication, and reliability; overtime and weekend work may be required to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of HACCP, GMPs and SSOPs.
• Intermediate computer skills (data entry, basic spreadsheets).
• Ability to uphold quality standards with staff and maintain excellent attendance.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends.
