Job summary

NFI in Rincon, GA is seeking a Quality Food Safety Manager to develop and oversee the QA/QC-Food Safety program for multiple clients within one building. You will maintain HACCP, GMP, SOP documentation and lead third‑party audits to ensure compliance with applicable standards.

Responsibilities include supporting and coordinating training, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring that food safety and quality practices meet customer, company, state and federal requirements across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience leading Quality/Food Safety teams in a high-speed distribution environment.
• GFSI certifications (SQF, BRC, FSSC 22000, IFS, etc.) strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership to coach and develop associates and drive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Actively support warehouse activities with technical leadership as part of the distribution leadership team.
• Audit and manage QA/QC-Food Safety programs and documentation.
• Ensure HACCP/Food Safety plans are implemented and monitored.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and CAPA management.
• Prepare compliance reports and analyze trends for continuous improvement.
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet customer, state, and federal standards.
