Certified Group in Columbus, OH is seeking a Lab Technician to prepare samples for analytical and microbiological testing of food products and related environments. You will apply approved microbiological methods and maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and an Associate degree in Life Science or equivalent laboratory experience. Travel is optional; the team emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and timely communication.

• Prepare samples for indicator organisms, pathogens, and chemistries

• Provide routine preventive maintenance by daily cleaning, sanitizing, and trash disposal
• Perform quality control monitoring (incubator temps, control organisms, media controls)
