Certified Group is seeking a Microbiology Technician to join our team, preparing samples for microbiological testing of foods and environments. You will apply approved microbiological methods, maintain reagents, and participate in quality control to ensure accurate results.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, with an Associate degree in Life Science or two years of lab experience preferred. Travel may be needed, and adherence to safety and FSNS procedures is essential.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED.
• Associate degree in Life Science or two years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of a food testing lab.
• Ability to travel is preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare samples for analytical testing of food products and environments.
• Apply aseptic techniques in daily workload.
• Maintain media and reagents for microbiological testing.
• Inventory supplies and report needs for testing requirements.
• Perform quality control monitoring and record results.
• Follow FSNS policies and customer requirements in procedures.
• Keep lab conditions, equipment, and records organized and safe.
• Work efficiently, neatly, and hygienically; share information promptly.
• Support team priorities and scheduling toward goals.
