Job summary

KeHE Distributors, LLC is seeking a Food Safety Coordinator to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across our distribution centers in the United States. You will perform routine inspections, manage preventative controls, and ensure adherence to GMP/GDP and SQF standards, aligning with KeHE's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of food safety and quality assurance in a food manufacturing or distribution center environment.
• Experience with internal audit procedures preferred.
• Familiarity with SQF, HACCP, GMP, and food safety audits.

Responsibilities

• Support food safety culture journey by documenting incidents and helping operations with continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor team in GMP and GDP practices to support the culture.
• Perform documentation checks and authorize clearance to receive/ship.
• Conduct monthly internal audits and document findings in the QMS.
• Monitor temperature, receiving/loading logs, sanitation, pest control, and GMP logs.
• Investigate and document food safety and quality complaints.
• Participate in SQF, GMP, HACCP and food safety trainings.
• Assist the Sanitation team with MSS and related paperwork.
• Collaborate with FSQA to enhance food safety protocols and product consistency.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
