Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Food Safety Specialist to support hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients by upholding brand standards and ensuring exceptional food quality. You will conduct audits, train staff, and partner with clients to implement corrective actions while travelling 50%-70% of the time.

Ideal candidates possess CP-FS or ServSafe certifications, a valid driver's license, and strong communication, organization, and time-management skills to thrive in an autonomous,

Qualifications

• Meet the requirements to obtain a CP-FS certification.
• Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays and evenings as needed.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
• Strong knowledge of food safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and inspections of client facilities to verify conformance with standards.
• Implement and monitor food safety programs and corrective actions.
• Train and educate client staff on safe food handling practices.
• Investigate food safety incidents and support root cause analysis.
• Ensure regulatory and client compliance through documentation and records maintenance.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback and influence teams in a positive manner.
