The award-winning AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Food Runner to join the Food and Beverage Team!

Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point, adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town is known for its laid-back vibe and active lifestyle.

The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a seaside bluff, featuring over 400 rooms, 115,000 sq ft of meeting space, and 8 food and beverage outlets including restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD.

• Classification: Seasonal
• Shift: Various – must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

As a Runner, your responsibilities include maintaining and transporting food products for designated outlets to ensure outstanding guest service and profitability. Your tasks include:

• Preparing and replenishing foods for buffets, including fruits, juices, cereals, bread, and hot foods.
• Replenishing ice and maintaining sanitation standards.
• Transporting food items between the kitchen and outlets.
• Checking, maintaining, and controlling inventory of food items.
• Restocking outlets and breaking down buffets for cleaning and setup.
• Performing general cleaning of work areas.
• Storing food stock and dry goods according to standards.
