Join us as a Food Runner (Seasonal) at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club.

About the Role

The award-winning AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is seeking a dedicated Food Runner to join our Food and Beverage team. Located in Dana Point, near Laguna Beach, the resort offers stunning ocean views, luxurious accommodations, and diverse dining options including four restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD.

• Classification: Seasonal
• Shift: Various – must be available to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
• Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Prepare and replenish foods for hot and cold buffets, including fruits, juices, cereals, bread, and hot foods.
• Replenish ice and maintain sanitation standards for temperature and hygiene.
• Transport food items to and from the kitchen efficiently.
• Check, maintain, and control inventory of food items.
• Restock outlets, break down buffets, and prepare for the next day.
• Perform general cleaning to maintain a clean work area.
• Put away food stocks and dry goods according to standards.
