The Food Runner creates an excellent dining experience for members and guests by anticipating their needs and serving them in a professional and efficient manner. Provide food and beverage items in a friendly, enthusiastic professional and timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's operation.
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables promptly and accurately, ensuring meals are presented in the best possible condition.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and servers to maintain efficient communication and coordination.
- Assist in the setup and organization of dining areas, including arranging table settings and ensuring cleanliness.
- Refill beverages and clear tables as needed to enhance the dining experience for guests.
- Support servers in various tasks to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy service hours.
- Adhere to the restaurant's sanitation and safety standards, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the dining, service station and kitchen areas.
- Engage with guests as needed, providing friendly and attentive service to enhance their dining experience.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- No prior experience necessary, however, previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to lift trays and navigate the restaurant floor with ease.
- Follow policies and procedures.
- Professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills.
