Job summary

Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head is seeking a Part-Time Food Runner to join our dining team. You will prepare tables, deliver orders, explain meals, and support coordination between kitchen and wait staff to enhance the resident dining experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a similar role, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to stay professional under pressure. Availability includes weekends, days, and nights.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with orders by explaining specials and making recommendations.
• Deliver food orders to customers in a timely manner.
• Explain food orders to chefs, noting allergies and special requests.
• Set up tables with tableware, utensils, decorations, and napkins.
• Uphold food health safety and sanitation standards.
• Check on residents to address requests or issues.
• Clear dirty dishes from tables.
• Inform management of resident feedback.

Turn on your Island Charm... Latitude Margaritaville in Hilton Head is currently looking for Part-Time Food Runners to join our team!

Latitude Food Runner will perform a range of tasks including preparing tables, serving orders, explaining meals, and facilitating collaboration between kitchen and wait staff. As a Food Runner, your ultimate goal will be to provide our residents with outstanding customer service and actively help to improve their overall dining experience by authentically delivering the Latitude Margaritaville Lifestyle. The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional and demonstrate excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Assist residents with their orders by explaining specials, meals, and drinks, and making recommendations.
• Deliver food orders to a variety of customers in a timely manner.
• Accurately explain food orders to chefs, with specific attention to allergies and special requests.
• Help the wait staff set up tables by placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, decorations, and napkins.
• Uphold our food health safety and sanitation principles.
• Occasionally check on customers to handle any impromptu requests or issues.
• Remove dirty dishes from the table.
• Inform management on resident feedback.

Technical Competencies

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Outstanding communication and people skills.
• Ability to stay professional in a stressful work environment.
• Superb multitasking skills.
• Available to work different hours including weekends, days and nights.

Compensation/Work Schedule

• $16.00 per hour
• Part-time (20-29 hours)
