Job summary

FirstService Residential in Daytona Beach is seeking a Full-Time Food Runner to support our Latitude Margaritaville dining team. You will assist residents, deliver orders, and explain meals to ensure an outstanding dining experience with the Latitude Margaritaville lifestyle.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a similar role, strong communication, and a high school diploma. Available to work varied hours including weekends. Compensation is $16.00 per hour with a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with orders by explaining specials, meals, and drinks, and making recommendations.

• Help wait staff set up tables with tableware, utensils, decorations, and napkins.
• Uphold food health safety and sanitation principles.
• Check on residents to handle impromptu requests or issues.
• Remove dirty dishes from the table.
• Inform management of resident feedback.

Latitude Margaritaville in Daytona Beach is currently looking for a Full-Time Food Runner to join our team!

Purpose

The Latitude Food Runner will perform a range of tasks including preparing tables, serving orders, explaining meals, and facilitating collaboration between kitchen and wait staff. As a Food Runner, your ultimate goal will be to provide our residents with outstanding customer service and actively help to improve their overall dining experience by authentically delivering the Latitude Margaritaville Lifestyle. The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional and demonstrate excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with their orders by explaining specials, meals, and drinks, and making recommendations.
• Deliver food orders to a variety of customers in a timely manner.
• Accurately explain food orders to chefs, with specific attention to allergies and special requests.
• Help the wait staff set up tables by placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, decorations, and napkins.
• Uphold our food health safety and sanitation principles.
• Occasionally check on customers to handle any impromptu requests or issues.
• Remove dirty dishes from the table.
• Inform management on resident feedback.

Requirements

Technical competencies:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Outstanding communication and people skills.
• Ability to stay professional in a stressful work environment.
• Superb multitasking skills.
• Available to work different hours including weekends, days and nights.
