Job summary

Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina seeks an On-Call Food Runner with a passion for excellence and the aloha spirit. You will assist the Service Attendant with delivery of food and beverage from kitchen and help guests with requests, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

This role requires at least 1 year experience in a luxury setting, fluent English (verbal and written), strong communication and computer skills, and a proactive, guest-centered approach. Legal US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, verbal and written.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar luxury-role environment.
• Experience in communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from kitchen to the guest, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in clearing, cleaning and setup of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service; greet guests per Four Seasons standards.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently to requests.
• Assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; help prepare items like toast, soup, or beverages.
• Assist in breakdown, cleaning and setup of buffets and food stations.

The Food Runner reports to theMānalo Lounge Managerand serves guest needs by assisting the Service Attendant with delivery of food & Beverage from kitchen and completing guest requests.

What you will do:

• - Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• - Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner; greet guests according to Four Seasons Standards to ensure superior service.
• - Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• - Assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.
• - Assist in the breakdown, cleaning and set-up of buffets and food stations.

What you will bring:

• - Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• - Candidates should have at least 1 year previous experience in a similar position in a luxury environment.
• - Must be experienced in the areas of communication and computer skills.
• - Service Passion
• - Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills
• - Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States
