In addition to delivering guests’ orders, they will assist servers in responding to the requests of our guests. The main responsibility of this position is to deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.Basic functions of a Food Runner:* Deliver food to guests quickly and efficiently.* Deliver condiments and drinks as needed (to include alcoholic beverages).* Refill beverages as needed. Respond to guest inquiries in a courteous and polite manner.* Promptly and professionally, handle guest issues and communicates problems and concern to management.* Maintain a clean and organized server alley and expo area.* Stock ice and glassware on the server line.* Pre-buss tables.* Clean and reset dirty tables.* Sweep the floor.* Assist and communicate clearly with the kitchen staff and front of the house staff.This job description reflects the position’s essential functions; it does not encompass all of the tasks that may be assigned.Qualifications:Job Requirements include: SKILLS* Remain calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere.* Demonstrate a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgency.* Display a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers.
