Job summary

PENN Entertainment's Hollywood Casino & Hotel in Kentucky is seeking a Food Runner to join our team. You will deliver food to tables, assist in fulfilling orders, and maintain a clean workstation while supporting servers for optimal service.

Shift: 11:45 am–11:30 pm. Applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass a background check and drug test. Weekend and holiday availability required. Company offers day-one medical, dental, 401(k) matching, and bonuses.

As a Food Runner, you will:

Shift: Ranges from 11:45 am- 11:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Provides fast, friendly, professional food service to restaurant guests.
• Assists in the fulfillment of all food orders according to guests' needs.
• Delivers food to guest tables throughout the restaurant.
• Maintains a clean and stocked workstation.
• Obtains replacement stock for table tops from kitchen area/storage; takes inventory in accordance with established procedures. Assists server/bus person in setting up tables and provides maximum efficiency and service levels by retrieving guests' special requests.
• Meets attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

Requirements

• Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must work well with others in a team atmosphere, especially servers, cooks, and supervisors.
• Must have excellent customer service/communication skills. Must pass background check and drug test.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
