Job summary

MGM Resorts International invites you to join The Library at Park MGM as a Food Runner. You will deliver courteous, prompt tableside service, describe dishes with confidence, and collaborate closely with your team to maintain Park MGM’s refined hospitality standards.

You will greet guests, expedite courses, and ensure proper delivery while keeping the dining area clean and well-organized. 21+ and experience in high-volume settings are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a high-volume dining restaurant as a Food Runner or Server.
• Previous experience in a Fine Dining restaurant preferred.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome.
• Expedite food from kitchen to table as directed by service sequence and Chef.
• Describe dishes and menu features on placement at the table.
• Communicate with the expediter to ensure correct delivery of food to the correct table and station.
• Perform open and closing side-work.
• Relay guest needs to kitchen management and inform management of guest reactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station and service area.
