Job summary

DineAmic Hospitality is seeking Food Runners at several West Loop properties to deliver exceptional guest experiences in our fast-paced, full-service restaurant environment.

Food Runners serve as the critical link between kitchen and dining room, ensuring accurate timing, proper presentation, and professional guest interactions. Candidates should have restaurant experience, be available evenings/weekends/holidays, and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience required; high-volume experience strongly preferred.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Basic knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and allergens.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests quickly and accurately according to table numbers and seat positions.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens to verify dishes before leaving the kitchen.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure proper timing and pacing of courses.
• Describe dishes and modifications when delivering food and answer basic menu questions.
• Assist with garnishing and final plate presentation as directed by kitchen leadership.
• Maintain cleanliness of expo line, service stations, and runner areas.
• Support servers and service teams during peak periods to maintain smooth service flow.
• Assist with clearing plates, resetting tables, and maintaining dining room readiness.
