Job summary

White Lodging and JW Marriott Austin are seeking a dedicated Food Runner to support the dining team. You will deliver meals promptly, assist servers, and help maintain a clean service area while learning menu details and ensuring guest satisfaction.

We value a positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to handle high volume, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced hotel environment.

• Promote teamwork and maintain a safe, friendly work environment
• Maintain neat, professional personal appearance and perform other duties as assigned

Summary

As a Food Runner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality dining experiences, ensuring prompt and accurate food service while supporting the front-of-house team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service by delivering quality food to guests and maintaining frequent communication with servers.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; accurately answer any guest questions.
• Complete all necessary side work and cleaning tasks.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with food and drink quality and presentation.
• Promote teamwork and contribute to creating a friendly and safe work environment.
• Be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional personal appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
