La Mer Beachfront Resort in Cape May, NJ is seeking energetic university students for Food Runners / Bus Persons for the Summer to Fall season. As part of the food and beverage team, you deliver dishes, clear tables, restock stations, and support servers and bartenders.

The role offers a guaranteed base pay of $8.00 per hour plus tips, up to 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities on busy weekends, and housing guidance from the employer.

We're looking for energetic university students to join our food and beverage team as Food Runners / Bus Persons for the Summer to Fall season – a perfect fit for your Work & Travel USA adventure.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Food Runner/Bus Person you are the heartbeat of our dining room and poolside service. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Delivering freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests quickly and with a smile
• Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables so guests always get a perfect first impression
• Restocking service stations with glassware, silverware, linens and condiments
• Supporting servers and bartenders during busy breakfast and dinner rushes
• Helping keep the dining area, patio and service areas clean, safe and welcoming
• Answering simple guest questions and pointing them toward the best beach spots in town
