Job summary

La Mer Beachfront Resort in Cape May, NJ is seeking energetic university students for Food Runners / Bus Persons for the Summer to Fall season. As part of the food and beverage team, you deliver dishes, clear tables, restock stations, and support servers and bartenders.

The role offers a guaranteed base pay of $8.00 per hour plus tips, up to 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities on busy weekends, and housing guidance from the employer.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in Work & Travel USA program.
• Enthusiasm and hospitality are essential.
• Able to stand, move quickly and lift trays.
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.
• Flexible to mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dishes from kitchen to guests quickly and with a smile.
• Clear and reset tables; maintain a pristine dining area.
• Restock stations with glassware, silverware, linens and condiments.
• Support servers and bartenders during busy breakfast and dinner periods.
• Keep dining areas clean, safe and welcoming; assist guests with questions.
