Major Food Group is hiring Back Servers to join Parm Woodbury in Woodbury, NY. You will provide knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient service in a lively, Italian-American dining setting.

Requirements include at least 1 year of food and beverage serving experience, strong knowledge of dining procedures, POS system proficiency, and the ability to stand for long periods. Open availability for evenings, weekends and holidays is needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable, friendly and attentive, efficient, friendly, energetic, and thoughtful service at all times.
• Support service team with ongoing table and floor maintenance, including water service, clearing and cleaning tables and resetting tables with proper tableware.
• Respond appropriately to guest requests or issues by communicating effectively with the proper server or management.
• Assist in the cleaning and polishing of all tableware.
• Receive instruction from multiple sources and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Support team members in the completion of their duties to ensure satisfaction of all guests before, during, and after service.
• Have ability to recite basic menu knowledge and run food to tables if needed.
• Stocking, organizing and preparing service related items.

Major Food Group is hiring Back Servers to join our team at Parm Woodbury!
Since the original location of Parm opened in New York City’s Little Italy in 2011, the restaurant’s takes on Italian-American soul food have reached iconic status. From the prized Chicken Parm to the homemade meatballs to the Rigatoni Carbone, the menu is inspired by the cooking Michelin-Starred chefs Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi ate growing up. The goal is to make the best versions of these recognizable dishes while remaining faithful to their history—and to serve them in a fun, familial environment.

RESPONSIBLITIES:
