Din Tai Fung North America is hiring a Food Runner in Manhattan, NY. You will deliver dishes from kitchen to tables with attention to detail and assist with takeout packing. You’ll work closely with servers and the kitchen to keep service flowing and ensure meals reach guests promptly.

The role requires a friendly, energetic team player with flexible hours. One-way video interview is part of the process. Pay starts at $11.35/hour plus tips, with potential tips significant in total compensation.

Responsibilities

Job description

As a Food Runner, you play an important role in delivering a great guest experience by ensuring food reaches guests quickly and accurately. In this role, you bring dishes from the kitchen to guests’ tables while maintaining attention to detail and presentation.

Food Runners also help pack takeout orders with care and keep the Expo Station and Takeout Packing Stations clean, organized, and running smoothly in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). By working closely with servers and the kitchen team, you help keep service flowing and ensure every guest receives their meal promptly and correctly.

PAY RATE FOR FOOD RUNNER

$11.35 per hour + Estimated $14.75 - $19.50 per hour in Tips
