Job summary

Din Tai Fung North America is seeking a Food Runner to ensure meals reach guests promptly and accurately. You will move dishes from the kitchen to tables and assist with packing takeout orders while maintaining clean expo and packing areas per SOPs.

You will work closely with servers and the kitchen to keep service flowing, support guest satisfaction, and contribute to a high-standard dining experience across locations. If you enjoy fast-paced teamwork, this role offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is a plus but not required.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Maintains a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dishes from the kitchen to guests' tables with attention to presentation.
• Assist with packing takeout orders and ensure accuracy.
• Keep Expo Station and Takeout Packing Stations clean, organized, and running smoothly.
• Collaborate with servers and the kitchen team to maintain flow of service and timely meals.

Job description

As a Food Runner, you play an important role in delivering a great guest experience by ensuring food reaches guests quickly and accurately. In this role, you bring dishes from the kitchen to guests’ tables while maintaining attention to detail and presentation.

Food Runners also help pack takeout orders with care and keep the Expo Station and Takeout Packing Stations clean, organized, and running smoothly in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). By working closely with servers and the kitchen team, you help keep service flowing and ensure every guest receives their meal promptly and correctly.

PAY RATE FOR FOOD RUNNER

$17.27/hour + Estimated $12.25- $12.50/hr in Tips
