Job summary

Davidson Hospitality Group is seeking a Food Runner at Baker's Cay Resort Key Largo to support timely food delivery and exceptional guest service. You will work with the culinary team to ensure accurate, prompt service while maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Ideal candidates are energetic, flexible, and capable of standing for long periods in a fast-paced setting. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required, and colleagues enjoy opportunities to learn and advance within a premier

• Experience in a restaurant or food service is preferred.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering food orders promptly to guests.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for seamless service.
• Provide friendly and attentive guest service and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the prompt and efficient delivery of food orders to guests' tables
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless food service
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guest inquiries and requests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food service areas
• Help with food preparation and plating when necessary
• Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols
• Embrace opportunities to learn and grow within the culinary field

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, but not required
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
