Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality's Black Rock Mountain Resort in Heber City, Utah, seeks a motivated Food Runner to join the Food & Beverage team. You will help deliver meals quickly and accurately, coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to keep service flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required; will train the right person.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Positive attitude and genuine desire to provide excellent guest experiences.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol if required by state law (or willingness to obtain applicable certifications).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the correct tables in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timing.
  • Assist servers with table maintenance including clearing plates, refilling water, and resetting tables.
  • Learn and be able to describe menu items to guests when needed.
  • Alert servers or management to any guest concerns or special requests.
  • Keep service areas, expo stations, and side stations clean and organized throughout the shift.
  • Support the team during high volume periods to maintain smooth and efficient service.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.

What you will have an opportunity to do: We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Food Runner to join our Food and Beverage team at Black Rock Mountain Resort. The Food Runner plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by ensuring that every dish reaches the right guest quickly, accurately, and at the perfect temperature. This position works closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to keep service flowing smoothly and guests happy.   • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol if required by state law (or willingness to obtain applicable certifications).
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a full shift.
  • Ability to carry multiple plates and trays, lifting up to 30 to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to move quickly and safely through a busy kitchen and dining environment.
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures near kitchen equipment.

Compensation: $15.00 - $15.00
