Qualifications

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and follow standardized drink recipes and procedures.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Basic math and money-handling skills.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and take beverage and light food orders accurately.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate coffee equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers safely and efficiently.
  • Restock and maintain cleanliness of the coffee station and market area throughout the shift.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of products.
  • Handle cash and operate POS system for transactions.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items and be able to make product recommendations.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Provide friendly, prompt service and resolve guest concerns or refer them to a supervisor as needed.
  • Support market operations by assisting with stocking, merchandising, and general tidiness.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

As a Barista working in the hotel’s market, you will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages, while providing exceptional guest service. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for coffee and customer service. Previous barista experience is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours) Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping Ability to operate espresso machines and other market equipment Comfortable working in a small, enclosed market space with hot equipment and refrigeration units

Compensation:

$15.00 - $18.00
