Position Overview

At St. Patrick’s Steakhouse, Food Runners are an essential link between the kitchen and the dining room. Food Runners ensure that dishes are delivered to guests promptly, accurately, and with care. They must move quickly, communicate clearly, and maintain the quality and presentation standards our guests expect.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables quickly and accurately.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion, and temperature of all items before delivering.
• Assist servers with table maintenance, including pre-bussing and resetting tables.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff, servers, and expo to ensure smooth service.
• Confirm that guests have everything they need after food delivery (condiments, extra napkins, etc.).
• Handle food carefully to maintain plating and avoid spills or messes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the expo line and dining room support stations.
• Assist with running side work as assigned by management.
• Help communicate guest feedback to servers or managers when needed.
