Job summary

Major Food Group is seeking a Back Server for Carbone Vino in Miami. This band 5, full-time hourly role pays $8.00 per hour and supports a high-volume, fine-dining environment with a focus on hospitality and teamwork.

Responsibilities include pre-meal tastings, greeting guests, station setup, and assisting during service while maintaining clean, organized workspaces. Benefits and a strong team culture are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in high-volume and fine dining restaurants (preferred)
• Full-time flexible hours required (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Back Server

Salary Range: $8.00 To $8.00 Hourly

Major Food Group seeks experienced and qualified Back Servers to join our team at Carbone Vino!

Vino celebrates timeless artisanship and the most coveted wines of Italy complete with a thousand bottle wine cellar. The menu features an extensive selection of handmade pastas, Sicilian pizzas, signature entrées like spicy rigatoni and friend veal chop prepared “your way”, and fresh gelato served table-side.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attend daily pre-meal tasting
• Ensure friendly greeting to all guests
• Set-up station and tables prior to service
• Assist in clearing and set-up of tables during serviceEnsures tableware is clean and in place
• Maintain the proper care and cleanliness of tableware, serving equipment and service areas (front and back of house)
• Maintain positive communication with service personnel

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 year of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required
• Full time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays)
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 50 lbs.
• Team-orientated and positive attitude
• Strong communication skills a must
