Job summary

The Smith in Chicago is seeking a friendly Runner to join our hospitality team. You will greet guests at tables, deliver food, check orders for accuracy, replenish beverages, and support the dining room to ensure smooth service.

We value honesty, teamwork, and guest-focused service. Previous restaurant experience is a plus. This is a full-time position with competitive hourly pay, a bonus opportunity, and a comprehensive benefits plan.

THE POSITION: RUNNER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet guests at their tables.
• Deliver food to tables and check food for accuracy, especially regarding dietary restrictions.
• Replenish food and beverages.
• Ensure accuracy of the order for both quality and quantity.
• Refill water or beverage orders
• Responsible for table clearing and cleaning duties, removing used tableware between courses.
