Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service preferred.
• Able to deliver food promptly and accurately.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.
• Learn menu items and garnishes to answer guest questions.
• Deliver food quickly and efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Handle to-go orders and ensure items, sauces and utensils are packed.
• Complete opening/closing duties and restock expo supplies.
• Sweep and mop expo area.
• Maintain safety practices and comply with regulations.

Ford's Fish Shack - Chantilly is expected to open in November. Temporary shifts may be available at our Lansdowne or Ashburn locations.

Ford’s Fish Shack is seeking Food Runners who have a passion for outstanding food and drink and providing the best in service. • The main responsibility for this position is to deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional & knowledgeable manner.
• Knowledge of all menu items and garnishes.
• Deliver food to guests quickly and efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front of house staff.
• Handle to-go orders, ensure all items, sauces, and utensils are in the bag.
• Complete all opening and closing duties including but not limited to; clean, organize service/side work area and restock the expo supplies before and at the end of the shift.
• Sweep and mop expo area.
• Maintain all food and beverages and ensure compliance with all safety practices and regulations.
