Sonesta Hotels International Corporation in Cambridge, MA is seeking an on-call server responsible for delivering food and beverages to guests with precision and timing. You will ensure meals are served hot and promptly, coordinating service to have each guest at a table attended together.

You will answer guest questions, uphold hospitality standards, and remain flexible to assist other hotel areas as needed. This is an on-call position with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.

This is an On Call Position.

What you'll be doing

Essential Job Functions include:

• Key Job Functions
• Serve food and beverages orders, with appropriate garnishments and condiments to guests
• Responsible for making sure all food items are served as soon as they are ready.
• Each guest seated at a table should be served together - Timing is important.
• Respond to questions with informed answers.
• Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for the entire shift.
• Must have a good sense of balance, be able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, push, pull and wipe.
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry food, beverage, and other items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description

Anticipated Pay Range & Additional Job Information

$19.80 to $22.00 Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific experience/overall experience.
