Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking an on-call food service professional in Cambridge, MA to ensure timely serving of all food items and to deliver passionate guest service. You will handle food and beverage orders, respond to questions, and work across hotel areas as needed. Competitive hourly pay with comprehensive benefits is offered.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and maintaining a guest-first attitude aligned with the GUEST model.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages orders, with appropriate garnishments and condiments to guests
• Responsible for making sure all food items are served as soon as they are ready.
• Each guest seated at a table should be served together - Timing is important.
• Respond to questions with informed answers.
• Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for the entire shift.
• Must have a good sense of balance, be able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, push, pull and wipe.
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry food, beverage, and other items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.

Anticipated Pay Range & Additional Job Information

$19.80 to $22.00 Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific experience/overall experience.
