Job summary

Hill Top Winery is seeking a friendly Food Runner to join our team. You will set and clear tables, deliver food, communicate with the host, and provide excellent hospitality to our guests.

Weekend shifts are required, and you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and tips that reflect performance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a busser, barback, food runner, or similar position is preferred, but we will happily train the right candidate
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Availability to work evening and weekend shifts

Responsibilities

• Serve customers their meals and drinks in an efficient manner
• Communicate issues to to the kitchen/serving staff
• Refill drinks
• Wipe down tables, chairs, and other surfaces
• Remove dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations

Compensation

Food runners receive a base pay of $16.90/hour plus tip out. Average pay expected: $18-20/hour, dependent on levels of business.
