KYURAMEN is seeking a friendly Food Runner to join our busy restaurant. You will connect kitchen and front-of-house, delivering meals, setting and clearing tables, and acting as the liaison between dining areas. If you’re friendly, hardworking, and eager to break into the hospitality industry, we want to hear from you.

We value teamwork and efficiency; this role supports smooth service, with opportunities to advance as you gain experience. Evening and weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in bussing, barback, food runner, or similar position preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Availability to work evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers their meals and drinks in an efficient manner.
• Communicate food orders to the kitchen staff.
• Refill drinks.
• Wipe down tables, chairs, and other surfaces.
• Remove tablecloths and reset tables.
• Remove dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables.
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Food Runner to join the team at our busy restaurant! As a Food Runner, you are the link between the kitchen and the wait staff. You will set and clear tables, deliver food, and generally act as the liaison between the front of house and back of the house. If you’re friendly, hard-working, and interested in getting your foot in the door in the hospitality industry, we want to hear from you.
