Job summary

VERDAD True Modern Mexican in Austin, TX is hiring a Food Runner for an on-site, part-time role. You will ensure timely guest service, interact professionally with guests and staff, and keep tables clean and reset between courses.

Responsibilities include removing dishes, assisting the kitchen, and delivering plates with care. Prior experience as a food runner or busser is preferred; growth opportunities exist in a dynamic, professional environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years: Food Running or Bussing experience

Responsibilities

• Guarantee that the gastronomic experience of the guest, in general, is pleasant, timely and pleasant.
• Provide a professional and welcoming attitude when interacting with guests and employees.
• Remove dirty dishes and utensils between courses.
• Make sure tables are clear, clean and quickly reset between seats.
• Appropriate entrees from VERDAD, including, Chateaubriand and Bone-In Tenderloin Steaks tableside for guests.
• Assist the chef team with ongoing maintenance of kitchen, including replenishing appropriate cutlery and crockery, cleaning all surfaces and floors throughout the kitchen.
