Job summary

Good Foods, located in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, is seeking a Regulatory & Specification Specialist to maintain product specifications and oversee regulatory compliance across labeling, claims, and packaging.

You will collaborate with Supply Chain and RDQ to verify ingredient specs and ensure compliant marketing materials. A Bachelor’s in Food Science or related field with 0–2 years regulatory experience is required, along with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related discipline with 0–2 years regulatory experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Skilled collaborator with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet timelines.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.
• Knowledge of the food industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product specifications and change management updates.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain on ingredient specifications and approvals.
• Complete finished product specifications with cross-functional teams.
• Develop ingredient specifications in the company software system.
• Serve as the first contact for customer inquiries about finished product specifications.
• Administer regulatory approvals for marketing materials and packaging.
• Review labels and Nutrition Facts Panels for compliance.
