Job summary

Fresh Mark, Inc., Massillon, OH, is seeking a Quality Technician to perform QA testing across receiving, manufacturing and processing to ensure compliance with customer specs and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes environmental monitoring, sanitation coordination, data recording, and training on food safety practices, including HACCP and FDA GMPs. Starting wage is $17.50 per hour, with benefits and opportunities to grow within the Sugardale brand.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or certificate in food science or related subject preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One or more years QA or related experience in food processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical, analytical and microbial testing as well as sensory evaluation.
• Performs process checks throughout production, packaging, sanitation and warehousing.
• Coordinates with sanitation for environmental testing program execution.
• Communicates test results with QA management, Production and Sanitation teams.
• Assists line technicians and in Sample Retain Program.
• Prepares QA stations and calibrates equipment for processing.
• Generates departmental QA reports and audits.
• Ensures compliance with standards and communicates deviations.
