Job summary

Agropur in Le Sueur, MN seeks a Laboratory Technician I to support production and quality control via chemical and microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.

You will document results, calibrate equipment, and ensure GMP/GLP compliance while working with the production team to safeguard food safety and quality, with on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement. Strong attention to detail and proficiency with lab software are desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field preferred.
• On-the-job training provided; no experience required.
• Experience with both metric and standard measurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and microbiological testing on materials and products.
• Document results in log books and software.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Support GMP, GLP, HACCP requirements.
• Assist with root cause analysis for non-conformances.
• Collaborate with production to resolve quality issues.
