Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a lab technician to perform diverse tests on in-process and finished food products, monitoring quality and safety. You will operate analytical equipment, document results, and assist in corrective actions within a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities include data entry in SAP, coordinating with production, and supporting GMP and HACCP compliance while covering vacations and day-off relief across lab shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: AA degree or equivalent coursework or 2 years in analytical lab.
• Experience with lab equipment and quality testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot lab equipment.
• Test and evaluate in-process and finished products.
• Record results and release batches in systems like SAP.
• Communicate results to production and aid corrective actions.
• Support food safety, GMP, and HACCP compliance.
