Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Lab Technician to provide vacation relief across lab shifts in a dairy production environment. The role involves operating and calibrating dairy analysis equipment, evaluating in-process and finished products, and ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards.

You will record results in SAP or LIM, support QA activities, and communicate findings to production to prevent nonconforming product.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: AA degree or equivalent coursework or 2 years in an analytical lab

Responsibilities

• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot lab equipment (dairy analyzer, NIR, pH, etc.)
• Test and evaluate in-process and finished products using lab equipment
• Record test results in SAP, LIM or computer database and release batches
• Communicate results to production and assist in corrective actions
• Ensure GMP and food safety compliance in manufacturing environment
