Job summary

Heinen’s Food Manufacturing Facility is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support product excellence and food safety. This role inspects materials, in-process components, and finished products, documenting findings and supporting corrective actions.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, experience in quality inspection, and strong organizational skills to maintain records and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in quality inspection or related role preferred.
• Knowledge of quality control methods and documentation practices.
• Ability to document inspection findings accurately.
• Strong organizational skills and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Perform 100% inspections and random audits per schedule.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality metrics records.
• Identify and report defects or non-conformities to leadership.
• Support QA initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with production and leadership to drive improvements.
