Job summary

Rosina Food Products, Inc. in Buffalo, NY, is hiring a Food Quality Inspector for our 3rd shift to help ensure safe, high‑quality meatball products. You will inspect weight, labeling, packaging, and overall quality.

The role is full-time, with schedules 7:00 PM–5:30 AM or 2:00 PM–12:30 AM, $21–$23 per hour, commensurate with experience. Training and advancement opportunities, plus benefits, await the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6+ months experience in QA, food safety, or food manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, CCPs, and BRC standards is a plus.
• HACCP certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Inspect product weight, labeling, packaging, and overall quality.
• Verify sanitation and GMP compliance during production.
• Monitor CCPs like metal detection and cooking temps.
• Complete documentation for HACCP and quality systems.
• Collect and submit product/environmental samples for lab testing.
• Assist with USDA, FDA, and BRC inspections.
• Train production staff on quality standards and documentation.

Pay & Schedule

• $21-$23 per hour, depending on experience
• Schedule: 7PM-5:30AM OR 2pm-12:30am
• Full-time position with consistent hours

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect product weight, labeling, packaging, and overall quality
• Verify sanitation and GMP compliance during production
• Monitor critical control points (CCPs) like metal detection and cooking temps
• Complete accurate documentation for HACCP and quality systems
• Collect and submit product/environmental samples for lab testing
• Assist with USDA, FDA, and BRC inspections
• Train production staff on quality standards and documentation
