Job summary

Seltzer's Lebanon Bologna is seeking a Quality Manager to ensure all quality standards, trainings, documentation and procedures meet SQF and GMP requirements, as well as USDA and contract manufacturing client standards.

The role leads the FSQA department, coordinates audits and CAPA, and drives continuous improvement while partnering across departments to uphold food safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or relevant experience in Food Packaging/Manufacturing.
• Minimum 5+ years of Quality Management Experience in a Food Manufacturing Environment.
• 5+ years of FSQA methodologies and policies.
• 5+ years of experience as a manager with strong leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of USDA, GMP, SSOP, HACCP, SQF and 3rd party auditing standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensures quality and food safety goals are met daily.
• Manages and leads the FSQA Department.
• Ensures manufacturing, packaging, testing, storage and distribution conform to USDA, SQF, customer and company policies.
• Writes, maintains, and self-audits HACCP & SQF programs to ensure compliance and change management.
• Promotes quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.
• Understands budgeting, forecasting and managing expenditures.
• Interviews, hires, trains, develops, coaches, disciplines and appraises staff within the departments.
• Ensures workforce is trained to provide seamless and timely delivery of service.
